Arrival in San Pedro de Atacama offers a haven of peace. This small village is nestled in an oasis at 2450 meters above sea level in the middle of the driest desert in the world, the Atacama Desert. It has retained its traditional architecture and dusty streets, the unspoiled charm. The surroundings contain natural wonders like the Tatio Geysers, the Valley of the Moon, the Salar of Atacama and the region of the lagoons and Miscanti Miñiques

San Pedro de Atacama is considered the archeological capital of Chile. You can discover the site of Tulor where lived there the first inhabitants of the region, about 2000 years, and the ancient pre-Inca fortress of Quitor Pucara.

Sports and adventure enthusiasts will not be left out : horseback riding, mountain biking, walking or trekking on one or more days in a setting breathtaking.
