Discovery of Sucre

Sucre, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful city in Latin America!

White city with Roman tiles, Iberian influences, harmonious and surrounded by hills with soft shapes, inside Bolivian land.

2790 m above sea level ? It’s difficult to think we are so high, yet the climate is mild, people prone to some form of nonchalance …

Sucre has a rich history : it is in the Casa de la Libertad that was signed the independence of Bolivia on August 6th 1825. Nicknamed the “white city” it was declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO,
Many hotels, full of charm, are located in beautiful renovated colonial mansions that makes this step especially enjoyable.

The outskirts of Sucre will surely delight visitors: the Tarabuco Market on Sunday morning, a special meeting with a community of weavers of the village of Candelaria, variety of hikes in the Cordillera Frailes or the fantastic colors of the Maragua’s crater.

The contentment and cultural richness of this imperial city certainly delight any traveler looking for enchantement …
